Our product is Golf Handicap 4.0, software that will maintain
either individual or group golf handicaps.
The software uses the approved USGA® formula for determining
someone's golf handicap which is now called slope-handicap.
The database maintains the most recent twenty (20) rounds
of golf and allows the user to input the course name, course
rating and course slope. Once entered this "course"
information is retained. Thus, you would enter course data
such as, say, "WildWood White Tees" and the appropriate
information. After this, you would never need to input this
course data again.
From the most recent 20 scores the best 10 (following the
USGA® formula) scores are used to determine ones slope-handicap.
Once 20 scores have been entered, asterisks will show the
10 best scores.
Members are added by clicking on the +MEM button. From that
point, the software uses an assigned member "keyfield"
to keep track of members. Members are listed alphabetically
by last name. After a member is entered into the database,
the VIEW button would be used to add subsequent rounds of
golf.
All entered data is saved automatically.
No File | Save is necessary.
New in version 4.0 is the ability to use different formats
when printing. You are able to print either handicaps for
the enter membership database or all rounds played for individual
members.
